PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate the development of ICT operational strategy, work plans and programmes and ensure alignment with the Union’s strategy, goals and objectives.Communicate the section’s strategic direction and objectives to relevant staffCoordinate the compilation of required internal and external information for ICT planning Analyze internal and external environmental factors on ICT General Secretary and top managementCoordinate the preparation of the corporate operating plan, assist in the collation and documentation of the AUPCTRE’s corporate ICT plan and oversee the monitoring of the corporate ICT initiativesProvision of ICT services to all department of the UnionPrepare and submit periodic activity/management reports to the GS on the activities of the departmentAct on behalf of, and perform any other duties that may be assigned by the GS.

Coordinate the development of the Section’s operational strategy, work plans and programmes and ensure alignment with the Union strategy, goals and objectives.Communicate the Union’s strategic direction and objectives to relevant staff/Members. Coordinate the compilation of required internal and external information for strategic planning Analyse internal and external environmental factors and provide results of analysis to the GS and top management as premise for defining the Union’s strategic goals and objectives.

Liaise with all departments, and facilitate the collation of predefined performance information for planning and monitoringFacilitate the strategic planning and quarterly review sessions of AUPCTRECoordinate the preparation of the corporate operating plan, assist in the collation and documentation of the Union’s corporate strategic plan and oversee the monitoring of the corporate strategic initiativesMonitoring of the AUPCTRE’s performance against set targets and report significant developments to GS/management through periodic performance reportsAssist GS/management in developing remedial strategies for addressing identified gaps in performanceTrack and monitor global and local best practices in Planning, Performance Review and Reporting in order to apply learning to AUPCTRE’s strategic planning processPrepare and submit periodic activity/management reports to the GS on the activities of the departmentAct on behalf of, and perform any other duties that may be assigned by the GS.
